Yellow Cake Chocolate Frosting. Cut the paper so it fits well in the bottom circle of the pan. Stir chocolate and corn syrup in a large metal bowl set over a large saucepan of simmering water until melted and smooth; remove from heat.
Sift cake flour, baking powder and salt together. To make icing, in top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate and stir in condensed milk. Continue to beat until it resembles coarse crumbs.
In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla.
If necessary, gradually add more powdered sugar or heavy cream to reach desired.
Stir it in with a rubber spatula. Stir chocolate and corn syrup in a large metal bowl set over a large saucepan of simmering water until melted and smooth; remove from heat. Place the dry ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix with the whisk attachment to combine.
