Stir in the egg yolk and remaining whole egg, and then stir in the milk. Prepare the Filling: Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a heavy saucepan. Mix cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a bowl until just moistened; pour cake batter into prepared baking dish.

Blending the Dry Ingredients: In the mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients, sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, & salt.
Add the mashed bananas, eggs, oil, and water. Spread half of the filling over the bottom layer of cake. Combine the ingredients for the cake batter (vanilla cake mix, flour, sugar, salt, eggs, water, vegetable oil, sour cream, vanilla extract and instant banana pudding mix ) in a large bowl and divide it into three round prepared pans.
