Is Cheesecake A Cake Or A Pie
Is Cheesecake A Cake Or A Pie. It's a dense creation made with a filling, served inside of a crust more — similar to the definition of pie. Cheesecake is not a breadlike food made from dough.
No-bake cheesecakes do not contain any eggs and don't have to be baked. Cheesecake originated in ancient Greece and it was a cake with ground cheese in it. Though one could argue that it is a tart rather than a pie (to which I would question if a tart is just a type of pie).
Cheesecake is a filling and flavor, like chocolate.
Perhaps the term "cheesepie" just didn't sound as appetizing to its originator.
Cheesecake is not a breadlike food made from dough. It can also be a cake, but it can't not be a pie. I hope now you can agree with that.
